Photovoltaic (PV) modules are used worldwide in building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) applications due to the easy installation, maintenance, and on-site power generation capabilities. Therefore, this study, we significance located Daejeon, South Korea, based surveyed simulated data. Actual each building’s exterior surfaces having solar access were surveyed. Based details survey, a simulation model was developed using Ecotect EnergyPlus software tools. For analysis, shading effects first analyzed with Ecotect, followed detailed analysis determine whether unit its could potentially reduce energy.
